It is nearly impossible to find the credit card account on Bank of America. The very first time I went to pay my credit card bill I spend 45 minutes trying to sign up for a bank account thinking I was going to get access to my credit card.
I'm not sure if this is on purpose to get people to sign up checking accounts or just to get them to miss a payment on their credit card here or there to snag some lucrative late fees. Either way, this hub is mostly a rant with the hope that others who are lost we'll be able to track down the mysterious credit card access at Bank of America.

We Just Want to Make Our Payment
We all really love the convenience of credit cards either as an extra safety net or the ability the get that little want before we have the means. For most it's a critical part of their personal finance. However, please just enjoy the interest we're happy to pay and don't nickel and dime us on the details. Please make the pay periods a full month, please don't take payments a day early if the due date falls on Sunday, please don't charge for phone, Internet, in person, or whatever payments, please when we hit the pay all button actually let us pay everything off, and please make things designed for convenience - convenient. These are the credit soltutions we need.

It is really confusing to get to from the Bank of America website. If you go to www.myeasypayment.com that is where you can pay your credit card or loan payment that is NOT online banking. :) Hope this helps!

You know what, I have spent an hour trying to making a payment on my credit card. This site stinks!! It tell you nothing on what to do, this must be a joke!!

Holy cow, but that's one hell of a bad site. I'd be ashamed if I did one like that. The thing is that BoA "customer service" insists that the site is just fine if you tell them it's terrible. He finally "enrolled" me in their credit card payment service. It's been pending setup for the last five weeks, according to their site. BOA user above gives the right alternative, but you know, customers shouldn't have to go to another website to pay the bill for their bank. Especially since BoA says you're not supposed to use myeasypayment on a regular basis. And to the smart alec in the first comment, not all of us have checking or savings accounts with BoA. All I have is a credit card. Tell me what I'm supposed to link together, genius.
I get so frustrated trying to pay my boa bill on line, I am ready to tear up my card. I try not to use it much anyway since they keep trying to trick me into having to pay interest. How often have I heard--"you don't have to make a payment. Honest." Then I get hit with interest etc.
cool this website blows. After wasting my time coming to this site and reading what everyone had say, I still haven't gotten any closer to knowing how to pay off my credit card using BOA. This site was just as useless as BOA's site... retards
Bank Of America drops the ball hard and heavy when it comes to allowing card holders to make an on-line payment to the account. You can spend hours with the run a round game on this one. The reason they make it so difficult.....let the customer call in and get charged the $10.00 or better yet we can hit them with a LATE FEE and raise the rates.

My big problem with paying my BoA card account online - from ANOTHER financial institution's checking account! - is trying to ascertain the "drop-dead" time (after which, payment will be regarded as "next day"). Other card sites have clear timetables quoting "M-F 5 pm EST," "8 pm CT," or the like; similarly, BoA USED to cite "M-Sat 11:59 pm ET," until a couple of years back (when they changed it to "M-F 3:30 pm ET"). Now, they no longer volunteer a cut-off time, AT ALL, for payments from "outside" checking-accounts, . . . neither when you're on the verge of submitting said transaction, nor within their FAQ's. After poking through every possible nook and cranny, via their sitemap, I've got to know: What's the big secret, BoA?

Get this! I've tried 'phoning BoA, by: 1) using the numbers on the back of my card; 2) Googling for local-branch numbers; 3) consulting the myriad numbers on the "Contact Us" page of their p1ss-p00r site. Not only is every one of these "Not in Service," but even their "Lost or Stolen Card" number is out of commission!!! Is BoA in the Witness-Protection Program?

ok, so how in the hell do you make a payment? The only think I find is that I can make a payment to someone using Bill Pay, but I can't pay the f*n bill itself. I have 15 credit cards and not one is like this, I'm closign this account.
When I click Pay Now, next to credit card info, it takes me to online payments where it wants me to pay someone... I don't want to pay someone, just the bill which said "PAY NOW"... Maybe another Gov't chunk of money needs to be given to them fromt he tax payers in order to fix this...
I can find the spot for paying the cc bill easily. What am I doing wrong?
I log in. I go to the account details. And the payment spot is in the upper right corner marked by the words "Make Payment," which takes me to "Pay Bills." Then I pay.
The first time I paid, I had to add an account to pay from, which is marked by a "Pay from account" tab.
Also, BoA CC's can be paid for at BoA banks.

That's weird! When I log in, all three of my accounts are boldly displayed on the first page. Never had a problem...
it shows my checkings, then savings and then credit card. Perhaps you have to link them together via BillPay? I love the convenience!
